A new COVID case has been recorded in Orange with 23 across the Western NSW Local Health District.

The person was not infectious in the community and was a household contact of Orange's most-recent case which was announced nearly a week ago.
The Western NSW Local Health District (WNLHD) has confirmed that the latest case won't impact the city's current restrictions or cause another lockdown.
As of 8pm Sunday, the 23 new cases for the health district were identified in Wellington (12), Bourke (3), Narromine (2), Cowra (2), Bathurst (1), Dubbo (1), Orange (1) and Mudgee (1).
Only one of these cases has been identified as being in the community while infectious, while 18 were not. Four of these cases are still being investigated. Twenty-one cases are known to be linked to previously confirmed cases.
In total, there have been 1406 cases of COVID-19 confirmed in WNLHD.
In total, there has been 11 deaths recorded in WNLHD.
There were 14 patients admitted to hospital across WNSWLHD; 3 were in ICU.
There were 8 patients discharged from the COVID Care in the Community (CCiC) program.
For NSW, there was another day of low case numbers with 623 new locally acquired cases and another six deaths - three women and three men.
One person was in their 40s, three people were in their 60s, one person was in their 70s and one person was in their 90s.

Three people were from south-western Sydney, two people were from western Sydney and one person was from the Nepean Blue Mountains area.
Four people were not vaccinated, one person had received one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, and one person had received two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine.
The person who had received two doses of a COVID-19 was a woman in her 90s who died at Hawkesbury Living Nursing Home. This is the fourth death linked to this outbreak.
A man in his 60s from south-western Sydney, who died at Campbelltown Hospital, acquired his infection at the hospital. This is the third death linked to this outbreak.
Across the state, 88.4 per cent of people aged 16 and over have received their first dose of a COVID vaccine, and 67.1 per cent are fully vaccinated.
