According to a report tabled to Council this week, numerous sport and recreation projects delivered over the past four years saw new playgrounds, amenities and sporting facilities installed as well as upgrades to a range of pre-existing ones at parks and other spaces.
Orange City Council's Sports & Recreation Committee chair Jason Hamling said Council was also looking at the city's future needs.
"I am really pleased with what we have delivered. I have been chair of the sport and rec committee for 17 years and I am excited about where we are heading," Cr Hamling said.
"The plans for Sir Neville Howse Stadium and Glenroi Oval demonstrate we are not finished yet.
"And the $25 million Sports Precinct and Parkland at Bloomfield is also coming."
