Police are appealing for the public's assistance after several firearms and chainsaws were stolen during a break-in at Forest Reefs.

Sometime between 6pm on Thursday, September 16, and 7am on Friday, September 17, someone forced entry onto a property on Forest Reefs Road, Forest Reefs.
Two chainsaws, two rifles, a pump action shotgun, a single-barrel shotgun and ammunition are believed to have been stolen during the incident.
Officers from Chifley Police District attended and established crime scene, which was forensically examined by specialist officers.
As inquires continue, police are urging anyone who witnessed the incident - or who has dashcam or mobile phone footage from the area - to contact Bathurst Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
