Transport for NSW says the night work will start this Sunday, September 19 at Cashens Lane (asphalt repairs); Guyong (asphalt repairs); and East Guyong (relocate 1.7 kilometres of steel barriers and carry out line-marking).
During night work hours, all traffic will be diverted via Millthorpe Road and the Mid-Western Highway through Blayney.
A spokesperson said drivers should allow an additional 15 minutes of travel time.
Transport for NSW says work to remove trees, to allow the highway to be widened, will also take place at Vittoria East from this Monday, September 20.
This work will be carried out between 7am and 6pm on weekdays, and is expected to take one week to complete, weather permitting.
