The centre is set to renovate its Moad Street base, with 25 years of fundraising and a generous grant from Smartygrants behind the exciting prospect of a new-look early education facility.
The school's board of directors has been a driving force to make the project possible, director Sonya Murphy said, with sustainability one of the school's main priorities.
"Another priority is sourcing local builders to support our community," Ms Murphy said.
She said Orange Preschool is hoping for local tenders to apply for the substantial work planned for the building.
The work will include new children's bathrooms, a new kitchen, a staff room and a large inter-agency area.
Our families are what drives us to be a better service every day.

Ms Murphy hoped the refurbishment project will begin in December, 2021.
"We are making the most of our space to create an environment that respects our history and improves our future," she said.
"As a community-based preschool we provide a high quality service for a diverse range of families.
"Our refurbishment will reflect the commitment we have to the children and families who use our service."
Part of that commitment has been the ongoing upgrade of equipment and resources the school's teachers and staff use.
The Orange Preschool also has a history of supporting local, with Orange scrap metal artists Jenny and Dave Shea used to design and make sculptures for the school's playground.
"Our families are what drives us to be a better service every day," she added.
