Now in its 21st year, the awards are seen as one of the major events in the regional business calendar.
The primary objective of the Daroo Business Awards is to raise the profile of companies and organisations across the Cabonne Shire that demonstrate a commitment to excellence in their area of service and business management.
With businesses showing such resilience during both the drought and the COVID-19 pandemic, the Awards are an opportunity to recognise and celebrate the achievements made by these businesses the Cabonne community.
This year, 77 different businesses have been nominated across 15 categories, with 21 individuals in the running for the Apprentice/Trainee of the Year and the Employee of the Year categories.
The winners of these categories, as well as the Best Business in Cabonne, will be determined by an external judging process.
For all other categories, voting is underway on the Cabonne Council website and closes 5pm Friday.
