To 8pm on Saturday night, NSW recorded 1218 new cases of community transmission, with 25 of those detected in the Western NSW Local Health District.
Of those, as has been the case since the outbreak in western NSW began, the bulk are in Dubbo, with 18 in the latest numbers. Elsewhere, there was three in Narromine, two in Bourke and one each in Brewarrina and Nyngan.
There were 42 new cases in the Western NSW LHD on Saturday, but again none of those were in Orange.
There was also fragments of the virus detected in sewage systems in Trangie and Walgett.
NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian said six people had died from COVID, including three in their 80s and three in their 70s.
"Four of them were unvaccinated and two of them had only had one dose of the vaccine," she said.

The Premier said 834,000 people were vaccinated in NSW in the past week.
"That is an outstanding result. It's broken all our records," she said.
"As a result 65 per cent of our population have had at least one dose and 35 per cent of our population is fully vaccinated. We're halfway through that magic 70 per cent number across the state, in order to have those extra freedoms."
NSW Ministry of Health Dr Jeremy McAnulty said the response from authorities in western NSW was a challenging one.
"Remote areas have particular challenges, but we've sent teams to assist in Dubbo and Broken Hill and there's additional assistance nationally with the military. It's a vulnerable community, there's the challenge of distance, but we're working together to tackle these challenges to keep the community safe and minimise risk of further transmission," he said.
