The amount of truck traffic that is following down this street now, at all hours of the day and night, is ridiculous.
Windows vibrating and walls cracking, lots of these houses are old double brick structures made of lime and mortar.
I took this issue up with a councilor he told me it would only be for a while until they completed the Dairy Creek Road upgrade. Guess what? That has come and gone.
I have lived in this street for over 40 years and, yes, when the sale yards and Email/Electrolux were operating the traffic, even back then, was not what it is today.
Trucking companies are using Edward Street, William Street and the road past the showground as a link between industrial estates.
For Christ sake, use that bypass road, after all that is what they were built for. Getting very frustrated.
