A young woman has been taken to hospital this afternoon with serious injuries following a car crash.

Chief Inspector Peter Atkins of Orange Police confirmed they were called to Ophir Road just past Clifton Grove shortly after 1pm on August 4.
"Police were still at the scene at 3pm. It was a single vehicle accident with a car crashing into a tree," he said.
"It was a female driver with serious injuries and has been taken to Orange Hospital.
"There is light traffic and small delays but cars are able to work around it."
A spokesman from NSW Ambulance Service confirmed they were called to the scene of the crash shortly after 1pm on Wednesday.
"There was a female occupant, a young adult. She's got a serious head injury and taken to Orange Hospital with the medical team," the spokesman said.
"There were three crews in total including a medical team."
