The green and golds were narrowly in front of two blues coming into round 12 but a smooth offensive display saw Hawks triumph over their rivals.
"Our attack worked really well today," Hawks' five-eighth Bridie McClure said.
"We had a chat at half-time about picking up on our defence and getting up off our line, but our attack came together. The girls are really starting to gel and combinations are coming together."
Everyone in the league wants to knock off Bathurst St Pat's, and Hawks went within two points of doing that last time out.
What needs to improve if they want to knock off the top dogs?
"Definitely our defence," she said.
"That was what let us down against them [St Pat's] last time. We were up but we left two massive holes and they scored both times. We need to push up off the line as a team."
