The Western Local Health District confirmed a positive case of the virus travelled through Molong, while there's also reports that case was working at a storage shed in Orange as well.
No venues of concern have been identified in Molong, and contacts of the cases are being tested while in isolation.
One venue in Orange, however, has been identified.
In a text message sent to tenants of Peter Fisher Real Estate, Orange on Friday it says removalists from a COVID hot spot attended storage sheds on Strathgrove Way on July 16 and have since tested positive to the virus. The agency notified its tenants of the case immediately.
"If you have attended your shed today, could you please follow NSW Health guidelines," the message to tenants read.
The Western LHD says urgent investigations are underway and contact tracing is continuing and the quick move to set up drive-thru testing clinics across the region is "a precautionary measure".
The drive-thru clinic in Orange will again be at the Orange Showground.
NSW Health encourages those with any COVID-19 symptoms to get tested. Symptoms include sore or 'scratchy' throat, shortness of breath or fever. Covid-19 testing is available at more than 300 sites across NSW. To find out where and when you can be tested for Covid-19 go to www.nsw.gov.au/covid-19 and search for testing clinics.
