The annual dance spectacular which raises money for the Cancer Council was postponed on June 26, just hours before people were set to flock into Function Centre.
This was due to the COVID outbreak and subsequent restrictions that have been placed on NSW.
But Ricky Puata, the Cancer Council's community lead for Western NSW has confirmed that if all goes to plan, dancers will take to the stage on October 16.
"The one that really damaged the point at the end of June was the no dancing rule," he said.
"As per NSW Health restrictions, the day of the event it could have one person per two square metres and we were basically at that capacity and could fit 450 people. The concern is that if it changes to being a four square metre rule, it might change how many people we can have in at one time."
He added those who purchased tickets, will still have those seats.
"I think we were very committed to making sure we were still able to have the event, so making sure we were able to give the experience to ticket holders, especially the stars and dance schools that have put in a lot of hard work," Mr Puata added.
"It was absolutely our commitment to see what we could do moving forward to bring the event post-restriction, we wanted to make sure we did the event."
