Not because it's a historic Group 10 rivalry, but because it's the fixture where he made his first-grade debut.
The 18-year-old utility took the field for Willie Heta's squad against the green and golds back in round seven when Mortimer's men took out two blues 36-22.
The spark plug hopes to not only make an impact on Sunday, but wants to help his troops produce a maiden win over their cross-town enemies this winter.
"It's good to get into the middle of the field when the forwards get a bit tired and lazy," the dummy half said.
"I'll come on to give Prouty [Alex Prout] a bit of a rest. All the boys have helped me ease into the side, and defensively it's much easier when you're inside Ethan McKellar and Nathan Potts."
It's those two men who have impressed Blimka the most as their work ethic both at training and on the field has left him in awe.
"They play 80 minutes every week," he said.
Blimka will plan to make an impact for Hawks, but CYMS' big man Ethan Bereyne doesn't want to see Hawks build any sort of momentum and thinks the battle of the middles will decide proceedings.
"It's going to be tough, especially in the wet," Bereyne said.
"There's going to be a few big bodies in the middle of the field."
He's dubbed the forwards battle as a crucial one ahead of Sunday, but Bereyne - despite his towering stature - has spent the majority of the season on the edge, which is certainly his preference.
"I think anyone would rather run at the smaller blokes than players like Saul [Houma]," he said.
Bereyne has wreaked havoc so far, scoring over a handful of tries already.
Also taking place at Wade Park on Sunday will be a hotly-contested league tag clash.
The two rivals are log jammed in the top four (CYMS second, Hawks third) and whoever claims the victory will go within striking distance of Bathurst St Pat's.
The ladies will kick-off at 11am, with the under-18s contest starting at 12.15pm. Cam Jones' side looks to continue its devastating run of form. First grade will get underway at 3pm.
