It didn't matter who you spoke to at the track last year, the overwhelming majority of feedback surrounding the state of Orange's racing headquarters was positive.
This is largely due to the ongoing work put in by Bree McMinn's team as the club president maintains a must-improve mentality.
After recently installing a water treadmill at the venue, Towac is currently amid a kitchen refurbishment, all part of a plan to make the facilities even more pleasant for visitors come October.
"I don't think we should ever stop... we're always trying to improve the venue," she said.
"The place is getting older and we're always having to upgrade facilities."
If you look at where the club was 18 months ago to where it is now, the difference is tenfold.
That's largely due to the horrific impact the drought had on the track as a 2019-20 was forced to be abandoned due to dry weather.
Since then, the region has been blessed with a steady flow of rain and that has led to more prosperous race meetings and more revenue for the club.
Many members of the public don't know that Towac Par is public venue and can be booked out for functions and events, something McMinn would like to see more of.
"I can't stress enough that it's open to the public," she said.
"We've had so many functions out there. It's been disrupted due to latest round of COVID but before that, we had 21st birthdays, engagement parties, weddings... it was basically non-stop for a while.
"People who came out said they hadn't been here in so long and commented on how good the venue was."
But, let's not beat around the bush....
The spectacle that draws fans to Towac is what happens on the track and the aforementioned date of October 20 is when the races will start with the 'welcome back to Towac' event.
Other notable events include 'tradies and ladies' day on November 19, as well as the Orange Gold Cup on April 8.
