The grant was part of the Regional Sport Facility Fund and came as a great delight to Orange Tigers secretary Kass Ings.
"It's great for the club and going to be great for the women to have their own changerooms," she said.
"Now they won't have to rush in and out between games or get changed in the toilets like most of them do, especially when you also have Orange City playing up there, I've found most women are getting changed before and after the game in the toilet at Waratahs.
"That's just the start of it, hopefully in the coming years we'll have our own amenities block with men's changeroom and more toilet facilities up there as well."
The installations will be at the red shed, next to the car park and at a relatively centre point between where Orange City, Orange Tigers and soccer games take place.
Early last year, plans were lodged with Orange City Council for a $500,000 re-development of its 'big red storage shed' and $700,000 to re-seal a car park.
Then in December, the council approved a $100,000 low-interest loan to the Waratahs Sports Club for the project.
