That will all change later this year when she will be part of the Charles Sturt University mixed netball team which will travel to the Gold Coast for National Uni Games.
"It's my last year of uni this year and I've always wanted to do some kind of uni sport, but I've always had so much sport outside of school that I've never really had much time. So I thought it's my last year so I might as well go for it," Harvey said.
"I've had a few friends go and compete in sports other than netball and they've all had good things to say about it, had lots of fun and made heaps of friends.
"So I guess that's one of the main things I'm looking forward to, meeting a few new people and having a bit of fun with it as well."
Although she will be the only CSU Orange student on the netball roster, she certainly won't be alone.
"I actually know a lot of the girls in the team, some are from Orange and just go to uni in different spots," she added.
"I don't know any of the boys though so it will be interesting to see when we get there. I always just love being on the court playing netball, but playing mixed netball is a totally different game to normal netball. I'll have to adjust my game for that and I might learn a few new things on the court as well."
