Southern Cross Austereo (SCA), which runs Triple M Central West's 105.1 station and the hit105.9 frequency in Orange, announced earlier this month the Ray Hadley Morning Show would cease being aired on the former on June 30.
Mr Hadley has been on the air across Orange for over 30 years, his association with regional NSW starting with The Continuous Call team.
Mr Hadley said he holds no ill will against the owners of Triple M in Orange, understanding the decision to no longer air his show is a commercial one, "and I respect that".
"Listeners in Orange have always displayed incredible loyalty and stand up for common sense," he added.
"They're salt of the earth Australians."
He says that common sense approach is best highlighted by the 2016 by-election when his Morning Show program broadcast from the Orange Ex-Services' Club after the "disgraceful" decision by the Mike Baird government to ban greyhounds.
"A message needed to be sent and Orange did that, with the Nationals losing the seat with a 34 per cent swing against them. The Government back flipped on the ban and the Nats haven't won the seat back," Mr Hadley said.
SCA announced the Australia Today with Steve Price program will be replacing the Ray Hadley Morning Show on its regional network from July 1.
The Australia Today show is produced by SCA and has been broadcasting exclusively on the LiSTNR app.
"We launched Australia Today a couple of months ago and I have been thrilled with the response and am enjoying connecting with listeners across the country and sharing and debating views," Mr Price said.
SCA's Head of Regional Content, Blair Woodcock said Mr Price is one of the country's finest broadcasters.
"(Steve) is passionate about Australians living outside of the big capital cities and advocates for amplifying their voices and concerns," he added.
Australia Today with Steve Price will air 7am-11am on LiSTNR and 9am-11am across select Triple M regional stations.
The Ray Hadley Morning Show can continue to be heard via the 2GB app between 9-12 every day.
