McDonald's licensee for Orange and Bathurst Todd Bryant said several roles were available.
"We are [looking] for approximately 10-20 positions in each of our four restaurants across Orange and Bathurst," he said.
"In recent months we have noticed a shortage of people available to work in regional areas."
COVID restrictions have also led to fewer international students being in Australia.
"In addition to employing locally from the communities in which we operate international students also make a significant contribution to our regional restaurants," he said.
Mr Bryant said they were looking for staff to fill full-time, casual and part-time roles. "There are a variety of positions available in our crew, management, barista and maintenance teams," he said.
"McDonald's employs over 500 members of the local Orange and Bathurst communities across four restaurants in the region.
"We are proud to employ people of all ages and experience levels, offering a supportive working environment, outstanding training and development opportunities and the flexibility to suit all circumstances."
People interested in the work should apply via McDonald's website's careers section.
Demand for fast food workers in Orange is set to increase with at least three more chains set to move into Orange.
Taco Bell and Guzman y Gomez are set to open on Bathurst Road while Oporto is to join a service centre site on the Northern Distributor.
