Mrs Adetifa will be running for the the Orange Residents and Ratepayers Association and said change is needed across the city.
"We want people to feel represented, we want to listen to people and make it a community thing where everyone can come to the table and talk about issues," she said.
"The group are Orange ratepayers and they represent everyone. They told me what they stood for and I felt inclined to join because I knew this is what everybody in Orange should be looking out for."
Eunice initially qualified as a solicitor in Nigeria, and re-qualified in Australia obtaining a LLB Law at Deakin University in Victoria and a Master's degree in Family Law & Commercial Litigation from the College of Law in Sydney.
Her husband has two medical centres in the Central West and Mrs Adetifa now manages those medical centres.
She also has two children, and says Orange needs more activities for kids, teenagers and mums.
"It's been a worry because even when they want to hang out with friends, they don't know where to go, so we feel it's time to change that," she said.
"We need to make them feel involved and we need to create an atmosphere for them and somewhere for them to grow because they are the future of Orange."
Leading the ticket for ORRA will be Amanda Spalding who is also running for mayor. Elections will take place on September 4.
