Organisers have cancelled the Orange Gets its Glow On festival event planned for Thursday night at the Orange Showgrounds.

They sent an email to people who had booked tickets for the June 24 event to announce it had been cancelled due to the weather.
"We have been advised by the organiser due to the weather forecast for Orange tomorrow that the event will no longer be going ahead, unfortunately a new date was not able to to be secured," it said.
"A full refund will be issued over the next 24 hours."

One ticket holder said she had received her refund within the specified time.
The event is touring regional centres in NSW, Victoria and Queensland in June, July and August.
That included events planned for Orange, Mudgee and Dubbo.
