Tennis was first on the agender after OHS dominated day one, having won three sports and held a 240-180 point lead as a result.
But Orange were made to work for it as Seib and doubles partner Blake Weymouth were pushed in their opening match against Dubbo's Ralph Capricho and Hugh Sienkiewicz.
"I was a bit rusty at the start but we came back and got it. We were up 4-2 but lost two games in a row, but then we won serve and broke to win the match," he said.
"I was positive at the start when we were up 4-2 but then started to get a bit nervous towards the end, but when it's 4-all you have to change your mindset, play positive and worked with Blakey really well to come out with the win.
"It's good to get off to a winning start and hopefully will do our best to get a big lead here heading into athletics and soccer."
Capricho said he was nervous heading into the match.
"I started to get into it towards the last few games but then it ended
"It was a bit disappointing."
Sienkiewicz echoed that disappointment.
"We were trying to keep it away from their one (Seib) and hit it at the other player (Weymouth)," he said.
" think I played alright but we just made some mistakes there at the end and it cost us."
The Orange pair were then then taken to a tiebreak against Ralph Murray and Paddy Nelson, but prevailed in the end.
This combined with a dominating performance by Ellen Dolbel and Olivia Dobel gave Orange the 7-5 win on the opening event.
This accounted for 58 points to orange and 42 to Dubbo.
