"This event is an important part of the city's arts program with everything from first-time performers to experienced pre-professional dancers, singers and actors taking part," said Eisteddfod president Meaghan Cooper.
"What is so exciting is that we see an incredible array of performers over four weeks on our stages, and in a way, it is like having our very own reality performance show right here in our city - so I would urge the public to come along - it is fantastic entertainment," she said.
The president said this year's event will return to full audiences and group sections returning to the event after last year's exclusion due to COVID restrictions.
"But we will still be working closely with Orange City Council to adhere to a strict COVID plan," Mrs Cooper said.

"While we are fortunate to have a core of volunteers who work for several days at the Eisteddfod, it will be such a help if people can offer even to do one session for us."
Last year, for the first time in the event's history, family and friends were not able to watch participants compete in the City of Orange Eisteddfod due to COVID-19 restrictions.
An information session for anyone interested is being held in the hall at Church of Christ on Burrendong Way this Saturday, June 26, at 2pm.
If you are unable to attend this session but would like to volunteer, head to the City of Orange Eisteddfod website to register your interest.
