As a finalist for Australian HR Team of the Year, the VERTO team has been recognised as one of the top HR teams in the country when assessed on leadership, communication, strategy, drive and results.
VERTO is also one of eight national finalists for Employer of Choice (Public and Not-for-Profit). This award recognises VERTO's leadership, engagement, communication and employee benefits that make it an outstanding place to work.
"The VERTO team would be honoured to be named a finalist in these prestigious awards in any year, but even more so in 2021," VERTO chief executive officer Ron Maxwell said.
"Being named a finalist in not one but two categories recognises the fantastic job the team did to get everyone up and running remotely, at short notice, during the COVID-19 pandemic to ensure we could continue to support the individuals and communities who rely on us."
The Australian HR Award winners will be announced at a gala event in Sydney on 3 September 2021.

Brief move for Thar
ORANGE'S Thar Indian Cuisine has temporarily relocated from its previous Summer Centre site to Sale Street as it awaits upgrades to the Summer Centre.
The restaurant will eventually be located in the re-branded shopping centre, The Village, as part of a planned $1.6 million upgrade. Dinesh Sarswat, who owns the business with his wife Madhu Sarswat, said the business continues to serve dine-in and take-away meals but the move is only temporary.
He said they have signed another lease for what will be known as The Village, and the new shop will include alfresco dining.
