Hartford Menswear was one of the shops caught in the crossfire when a blaze burned through an apartment building on April 5.
But as of this week, it was all systems go and there wasn't anybody happier than Mr Peisley.
"It's been very humbling getting all these messages of support from my customers and all the people in Orange, it's been fantastic," he said.
"The idea of opening only came up in the last week.
"So I've only really had a week to get in here and get some stock in and be able to open, so I wasn't sure if it would be this week or next week. But I was able to get in and get enough done to open on Wednesday."
The time leading up to this point hasn't been easy, but the business owner is proud of what he has been able to achieve.
"It's been difficult. Just that whole timeline as to when you can get back in and how quickly you can get back in, so that's been the stressful side of it, trying to piece it together," he added.
"I did have some stock on hold that I had ordered last year but a lot of my other pieces are still yet to come because they got caught up in Melbourne being shut.
"So we've been trying to get stock and stuff in last week with them being on skeleton staff with them still in lockdown.
"But now we're very excited to be back open and very happy to still be in the same spot. Just needed to get back here and capitalise on the winter season."
Mr Peisley had a final message for those who have helped him through this period.
"We have taken the opportunity to find the positives," he said.
"Thanks to our fantastic customers for all their messages of support and kind wishes."
