Ms Pienaar is the owner and head cheesemaker at the Second Mouse Cheese Company and said they were so busy that they sold out of almost all types of cheese before the close of play.
"It has been busy. Long weekend is traditionally a very busy time for visitors in Orange," she said.
"I think after the cold week we've had people are keen to come down and get some warm breakfast."
Ms Pienaar's business doesn't have a physical store in the city, so events like this are that much more crucial.
"The farmer's market is a really important part of what we do here. It's a great opportunity to get out and connect with our customer face to face," she said.
"Everything is made a little bit differently but the thing that makes us stand apart is it's made by hand and packed by hand. It's great to be able to let people taste some of the product and tell them a bit about what they are eating."
The next market will be held on July 10.
