In fact, she's the only Thunder player leftover from the side's magical triumph in 2014 ahead a three-day trip to Liverpool for the looming tournament.
So, if anyone knows what kind of a side it takes to knock off the touted Sydney outfits, it's her.
The 29-year-old Hawks Royals gun understands her side isn't overly experienced, but what it lacks in match time, it makes up for in versatility.
"There are obviously some younger players in the team and the Sydney sides can play quite physical and quite hard," Turner said.
"But for us, our ultimate goal is to go out there and win it. We have strength on all areas of the court."
And while it's handy to have athletes like Maddie Cole, Ally Kaufman and Em Williams on your side, they don't count for much without a dedicated mentor steering the ship, and that's exactly what Thunder has.
Kiwi import Lana McCarthy has been a revelation for the representative outfit so far, and after she guided Thunder to undefeated regional campaign prior to the commencement of the ONA season, Turner was able to truly appreciate the way she coaches the sport.
"Honestly, I cannot speak highly enough of Lana," she said.
"Just how she comes in and gives a different perspective... for me personally, she's re-ignited my spark and passion for netball again.
"She's got so much experience, and she gives a perspective on the difference between Australian and Kiwi netball."
Not everyone is aware of the major differences between the two, so to put it simply, Australian netball players run more.
With McCarthy's New Zealand-style approach, she's allowed her players to move the ball down the court more efficiently, without spending as much energy as normal.
"She likes to use the ball to get the speed working down the court," she said.
"It's super effective, and it means you run half as much as you normally would.
"As for her defensive approach, it's really good as well.
"She's definitely got a knack for defensive structure, and a different way of positioning bodies which the girls have picked up as well and are enjoying."
Tuner's hoping that McCarthy's style, as well as the side's potential, is enough to cause a boil over come Monday.
"No one's unbeatable," she said.
"It just comes down to who turns up on the day and hopefully that's us."
The championships event is jam-packed with sides and Orange will kick-off its run to the title against Parramatta Auburn at 9am on Saturday morning.
From then on, they will square off against squads such as Randwick, Wyong District, Campbelltown District, and Newcastle.
