The couple have opened the Upper House Bakery where they specialise in lamb rogan josh pie, classic Aussie beef pies, and chicken shwarma sausage rolls along with authentic sourdough, using grain from wholegrain milling.
They also sell a range of treats, pastries, and breads, as well as Academy coffee.
Mr Khetwal said he has been a baker since 2013 but he has also studied business and her trained as a chef in India.
"When I moved to Orange [in 2017] I worked for Racine for three years," he said.
The couple also runs the Upper House Indian Restaurant a few doors down the street.
Hotel owners buy new pub
An Orange man and past owner of the former Percy's Bar and Kitchen has taken over ownership of Dubbo's one-of-a-kind historic cornerstone pub, The Milestone Hotel.
Hospitality company Harvest Hotels officially took on its new ownership and management of The Milestone Hotel on Tuesday from the Blair family.
Harvest Hotels director Fraser Haughton is from Orange and said the pub had been on the company's radar for some time, so when the opportunity for them to acquire it arose, it was a no-brainer.
"It's a beautiful heritage pub," Mr Haughton said.
Aside from a new general manager Scott Davies, the vast majority of staff remain, as will the pub's name.
Mr Davies, previously from Tamworth, was approached by Harvest Hotels, who he was already employed with, for the job.
"I'm really excited, it's a great opportunity," Mr Davies said.
Aside from signage, superficial changes, a menu refresh and polishing up its great customer service, the pub will more or less remain as it is.
Lingerie business opportunity
An opportunity has opened for someone to purchase Orange Lingerie shop Vivid Black.
The Summer Street business is the only lingerie store in Orange, and specialises in some of the most recognised lingerie brands available including Berlei, Triumph, Givoni and Amoena.
It also provides personalised customer care and services including prothesis and bra fittings, as well as lingerie, pyjama and an accessories range.
