Orange Hawks' enforcer Ethan McKellar will be out to prove that theory correct during Saturday's Group 10 collision against Bathurst Panthers as the two sides will kick-off Glen Willow's Magic Round.
Willie Heta's men will be out to bounce back from a round three loss against CYMS as the green and golds put a gap on Hawks, winning by 24 points.
And even though the score-line didn't flatter the two blues, McKellar's adamant his lads aren't overly discouraged by it.
"It wasn't too much of a disappointment," McKellar said.
"It's the start of the season and we just need to make sure we're recovering from it and doing the things we need to improve.
"For us, it's about getting up off our line and getting numbers in the tackles... especially against these big boys at Panthers."
The men in black haven't sustained a loss during the opening rounds, and if they are to drop their first game in round four, Nathan Potts will be one of Hawks' forwards that needs to continue their good form.
"He's an absolute work horse and a top bloke," he said.
"Every side needs someone like that."
Kick-off is 12.40pm.
