Other towns are pulling malls out.
Council should listen to the residents and not to the councillors who may have a vested interest in this move.
It will encourage riff raff into the area.
One only has to see the behavior of some of the juveniles riding skate boards and bikes in the City Centre to see the trouble they cause.
Is council going to foot the bill for permanent security guards to be stationed in the mall 24 hours a day?
Ultimately it is us, the ratepayers, who will foot the bill.
I call on all ratepayers to vote those councillors out at the council election in September.
As for the removal of traffic lights on the Northern Distributor and the pedestrian crossing near Kinross Wolaroi School it is a ludicrous idea.
Leave them as they are.
Some councillors, including the mayor, are living in the dark age.
And finally what right does council and the councillors have to knocking back a supermarket or shopping centre in south Orange when it is badly needed.
There should be a shopping complex and the residents need one so consider them.
The simple reason as to why there are vacant shops in Summer Street is the rates and rents are too high however councillors and council should not be knocking back development in the south.
