Around 5000 tickets were pre-purchased online for the 149th Orange Show, with overall gate numbers predicted to be "well up" on previous years, treasurer Matt Lamrock said.
Fellow committee member and horse section steward Jaci Mascord Norris added that the level and quality of fields was the "best we've seen in years".

The Orange Show will celebrate its 150th anniversary in 2022.
