The sport has taken over the town, to such a degree that later this year it will host the state championships for the second time in three years.
But before then, they will join thousands of others for a women's global event on May 8.
Molong man and member of Central West Disc Golf Kevin Costa said.
"I've only been playing for a couple years now so to see it growing from a very small sport to a point where many people are aware of this is impressive to see," he said.
"The disc golf scene in Australia is just exploding.

"Molong has become a bit of a hot spot on the disc golf scene."
The weekend's tournament will be one of only six across Australia that will coincide with the international event.
