Police from Tullamore, about 80 kilometres east of Peak Hill are making inquiries are two Dorper sheep were found shot dead on a property on the Cooka Hill Road.
Dorper sheep are predominantly a meat breed and one of the animals was discovered with its hind legs completely removed.
