Murray George Parker, 25, of east Orange, was riding an unregistered 150cc motorcycle in Kinross State Forest in early January after he had drunk six cans of bourbon.
According to police, Parker had lost control of the bike, then lost his balance and fallen off.
The impact of the crash had caused minor lacerations to his back, while the motorbike had its handlebars bent back and brake snapped off.
As paramedics treated Parker, police had also arrived and observed that his speech was slurred.
The 25-year-old admitted to drinking a six-pack of bourbon and cola prior to crashing his bike.
Parker was taken to hospital and gave a blood sample which later gave a reading of 0.165.
Parker was convicted in Orange Local Court last week and disqualified from driving as well as motorbike riding.
