As the officer in charge of Orange and Molong Sectors, my focus is ensuring a safe community for our residents to live in.
I am committed to reducing domestic violence, road trauma, and property crime in our community.
To achieve this, I co-chair the Orange and Parkes Safety Action Meetings which co-ordinates the response of Government and non-Government agencies to the highest risk victims of domestic violence.
I am committed to reducing domestic violence, road trauma and property crime in our community.
As the Local Emergency Operations Controller for the Orange Local Government Area and Deputy for the Cabonne Local Government Area, I work closely with our colleagues from Fire and Rescue NSW, NSWSES, NSW Ambulance, Rural Fire Service, NSW Health and the Orange and Cabonne Councils as we plan and respond to emergencies in our community.
As your LEOCON I can reassure you that your local emergency agencies have excellent working relationships with the most recent example being the multi-agency response to the Summer Street fire in Orange on Easter Monday.
Most recently Orange police conducted Operation Easter Long Weekend where officers conducted an increase of random breath and drug testing alongside officers from Traffic and Highway Patrol Command.
Similar operations will continue over the Anzac Day weekend and June long weekend periods to ensure road safety, in addition to regular traffic enforcement operations.
Orange and Molong Sector Police will continue to conduct firearms audits to ensure licensed firearms holders are complying with Firearms Legislation regarding safe storage of their firearms to reduce the risk of firearm theft or misadventure.
Orange Police will again assist the Orange RSL with the Anzac Day marches to ensure a COVID compliant and safe event for all to pay appropriate respect to our former and current servicemen and women.
I lead a dedicated and hardworking team of officers at Orange and Molong Sectors Police Stations.
However, if anyone has concerns regarding their latest experience with police, you are encouraged to contact myself at Orange Police Station on 6363 6399 to discuss your concerns.
