Project
Local children will learn about the environment and pollinating creatures in this collaboration between Orange Regional Museum, Orange Regional Gallery and the SPARKE Network of public primary schools. Art will be used as a tool for learning and culminate in pieces that explore insects, birds, bats and small mammals. Mad Max: Furiosa
Star Watch
OK, so, it's not strictly something to do per se but there's fun to be had keeping an eye out for Chris Hemsworth (Thor) and Anya Taylor-Joy (Queen's Gambit) who are set to start filming a Mad Max prequel, Furiosa, in various locations around New South Wales. Just where they will be (Broken Hill has been mentioned but there are more sites to come) will keep you guessing. They could pop up anywhere. Various
Festival of Small Halls
This week
The hall may be small but it will host a big event this April. The Festival of Small Halls is making its return with two national acts locked in - Byron Bay singer, ukulele strummer and drummer Bobby Alu and two-piece indie pop-rock band This Way North.
