A man has been taken to hospital in a stable condition after a crane tipped on Orange's Edward Street just before midday on Friday, trapping him for a short period of time.

Emergency services responded to reports of an overturned crane at about 11.45am on Friday morning with ambulance and Fire and Rescue NSW crews being dispatched, while police were also in attendance.
They discovered a man in his 60s had been trapped during the incident however emergency services were able to extricate him, which allowed paramedics to begin treatment on site.
The man reportedly suffered lower leg injuries and was transported to Orange Hospital in a stable condition.
Emergency services remain on the scene.
