JAM Orange is welcoming internationally renowned guitarist Michael Fix back to the stage.
Over the past 30 years, Fix has released 16 albums, several DVD's, songbooks, and EPs. With over 1000 published works he performs regularly at festivals across Australia, Europe, UK, and Asia.
He has also won numerous awards for his music, including three Golden Guitars for Instrumental of the Year.
Fix has has joined forces with award-winning Queensland singer-songwriter, Mark Cryle to present Time Lines - Australian Stories in Song, a unique musical perspective on Australian history.
Both Fix and Cryle are multi-instrumentalists and seasoned performers, and both are passionate about keeping Australia's checkered history alive - the good, the bad and the ugly - revealed through a catalogue of original songs.
Supporting their performance will be Canowindra singer- songwriter Nerida Cuddy who will feature songs from her soon-to-be released album, Woven - a collection of Australian story-songs with a focus on women - stories of hurt, repression, strength, and resilience and, woven throughout, the healing power of nature.
The digital version of the album was launched on March 7.
The concert will be held at the Bloomfield Hall on Sunday, April 18 between 7pm and 10pm.
Tickets are $30 and are available on-line at www.jamorange.com.au or at Landers Music in Summer Street.
The doors open at 6pm and food and refreshments are available.
