Events start on Thursday night with international, Australian and local artists coming together for four days of classical music at a winery, restaurants, the Civic Theatre, the Orange Regional Conservatorium and the Orange Regional Museum.

Orange360 general manager Caddie Marshall said they were keen to spread Orange's attractions to the arts.

"We will do anything we can to support the arts," she said.

"We just see this is as a huge growth market.

"It is something people do travel for."

Ms Marshall said at least 80 per cent of the initial sale of tickets for the festival were to people from out of the Orange region.

Musician and committee treasurer Jay Byrnes said all full three day festival passes had been sold.

He said Friday's major concert at the Orange Civic Theatre was close to selling out on Wednesday.

"What a great opportunity to bring some classical music to Orange," he said.

The festival includes a free event, Music at the Museum, at the Orange Regional Museum from 5pm on Friday.

Bookings, for COVID-19 social distancing requirements, are required.
