On Saturday, April 17, and Sunday, April 18, a large variety of "well established" plants and flowers will be available for purchase to help the community group pay for additional features in the garden.
Friends of the Orange Botanic Gardens president Susan Sanders said most of the plants up for sale ranged between $2 and $4, although there were a few larger pot plants with higher price tags which reflected that.
"Our aim is to raise funds to enhance the garden in the way of features, fountains or anything like that," Mrs Sanders said.
"We're raising money to put some seats and tables in what used to be a bonsai house... It's so empty at the moment so we thought it'd be a nice place for people to bring a picnic.
"That's one of the things we do. We also pay for maintenance and things like that."
Friends of the Orange Botanic Gardens was established over 30 years ago to assist in the beautification of the community garden, while the group's regular plant sales have been running for about a decade.
Attendees are not required to book ahead but restrictions will still be in place on the number of people allowed inside the propagation area at the one time.
The plant sale will run on April 17 and 18 from 8.30am to 2pm in the propagation area of the Botanic Gardens.
