The pop-up art shop that was instigated by Hank Spirek as a collective showcase for local artists is closing down "with a bang".

From April 10 to April 17, the exhibition space at the Summer Centre Shopping Centre will host exhibitions and demonstrations - with some selected work selling at discounted rates- , before closing for good on April 25.
Since opening in November, the shop has sold over 100 pieces of work - at a total value of $20,000.
"I would like to thank Paul Saunders, the owner of the Summer Street shopping complex for the free use of the space. I'd also like to thank the public for their enthusiastic support. The members of the Orange Society, Orange Camera Club and Art From The Heart for their art works and manning of the exhibition," Mr Spirek said.
Dave Mason will feature at the pop-up gallery's first demonstration on April 10 from 10am - 2pm, followed by Glen Southwell on April 11 from 10am -12pm; Jodie Geach on April 12 from 1-3pm; Katie Huang on April 12 from 10am - 12pm; Wanda Driscoll 1-3pm on April 12; Kaye Partridge 10am -12pm on April 13; Maggie Rosso from 1-3pm on April 13; The Orange Camera Club 1-3pm on April 14; Denis Bradley 2-4pm on April 15; The Orange Camera Club 1-3pm on April 16, and on April 17 - Anne Ind from 10am -12pm and Kay Gorringe 1-3pm.
The gallery is open every day from 10am till 4pm.
