Emergency services responded to reports of the accident at about 3am on Thursday morning, reportedly discovering the car had flipped onto its roof after crashing into a parked vehicle on Allenby Road.
The force of the impact also pushed the parked vehicle into another on the residential street, with police confirming there was no injuries as a result of the multi-vehicle accident.
Police confirmed the unaccompanied learner driver, a 23-year-old male, was subjected to an initial breath analysis test which returned a positive, mid-range reading.
Police were continuing investigations and said charges were yet to be laid.
The driver's vehicle was towed from the scene, with firefighters also attending the incident to clean up any spills related to the accident.
