Jessie Flett, 48, of Bletchington Street, Orange, was pulled over for a random road-side test at 9am on December 16, 2020.
A secondary oral fluid test subsequently gave a positive result for both methamphetamine and cannabis.
On Monday, Orange Local Court heard that at the time of the offence Flett had been trying to get into a drug rehabilitation which she had since successfully done.
She had also managed to cut ties with the local "drug culture".
Magistrate David Day convicted her for driving with illicit drugs present in her blood and she was also disqualified from driving for six months.
