Jessica Moad of Baker Street was due to appear in Orange Local Court on Monday for driving despite her licence expiring two years prior.
The court heard that the 28-year-old had called the court on the day she was due to appear and told them she had "this holiday planned before this court date".
According to a document that was partially read aloud by magistrate David Day, Moad also added that she hadn't organised legal advice yet and "does not know why she is going to court".
Two weeks prior, Moad had similarly failed to appear because she was "unwell and not in Orange".
The original March 15 date had been imposed after Moad was stopped while driving on December 30, 2020, and failed to produce her licence. A police check revealed it had expired on March 21, 2019.
Moad's request for a second adjournment was refused on Monday and she was convicted in absence. While no penalty was imposed she was disqualified from driving for three months from March 29.
