Melissa Hamling and Louisa Shannon provide food hampers featuring local produce through their business Enjoy Orange however, the business has recently expanded with Melissa's husband Jason providing a transfer service.
Mr Hamling said he has a seven-seater van to drive clients to the wineries of their choice, to or from Orange airport or restaurants.
Although the transport side of the business is new, Mr Hamling said he is booked out for Easter.
Hairdresser to relocate
Hair dresser Skye Bouffler is relocating her business to a Orange Centrepoint Arcade.
Miss Bouffler runs Meraki Hair and Beauty Lounge but will relocate to the new site on April 7 under the new name Serella Blu.
Miss Bouffler said she is involved in a joint lease at her current location but the new shop, which has previously been a hair salon, will be under a solo lease.
She said it will also be in a more central location and she wanted to move last year but COVID-19 delayed her plans.
Career advice launched
Skillset has launched a free career advice support service, Skillset CareerLink Central West.
The federal government selected Skillset to receive a $600,000 project grant from the National Careers Institute to deliver the career information, advice and support program.
The Skillset CareerLink Central West program is supported by Regional Development Australia Central West and will be delivered across 11 local government areas covering more than 180,000 residents in Bathurst, Blayney, Cabonne, Cowra, Forbes, Lachlan, Lithgow, Oberon, Orange, Parkes and Weddin.
Key services include Career Consultation - where people aged 25-44 years can sign up for free career development sessions; CareerLink Hub - a regional careers information hub; CareerLink Community - an online portal where Central West residents can access newsletters, career advice, resources, and invitations to events.
Skillset CEO Craig Randazzo said the program will create an immediate impact for people aged between 25 and 44 years.
