"We are nearly at 70 per cent of those tickets sold, which is brilliant and we are stoked with that," Mr Barrow said.
"We've only got 2000 tickets up for sale due to COVID restrictions, that may change, I'm hopeful it will change but who knows what will happen.
"Obviously this year everything has to be ticketed, due to COVID we need to do tracking, record names and postcodes all that sort of thing. But it's just great to be running an event.
"I think everyone is desperate to get out and see something, see new artists and to have a bit of energy back about the community and the Central West."
Mr Barrow is also the event's Balloon Director and said the Supagas Challenge was shaping up to be the biggest balloon event in the country.
"We have 32 balloons registered at the moment, which is a pretty good effort, we are really happy with that," he said.
"Given it's a non-international year with COVID stopping our internationals coming, 32 is a great number.
"I think we might even scrape one or two more in, people often wait to the last minute just to see what their holiday's are like.
"We are out of school holidays this year, which has taken a few of our regulars out, so anything above 30 we are absolutely thrilled with.
"That will make it the biggest balloon event in the country this year, which is fantastic, maintaining our place as the biggest balloon event."
He said it was also thrilling to announce Cabonne Council as the major sponsor for the 2021 Balloon Glow and Jayne Denham as the headline act.

"We had her lined up for last year, COVID then shut down the event, but she's been fantastic and is coming back with her band," he said.
"She is a triple Golden Guitar nominee, she's played all the big country shows like CMC Rocks in the States and she has a new album that's coming out the week after the Canowindra event.
"So it's a great chance to get some sneak previews of those songs, a few of her current songs are in the top five on the country charts.
"So she's doing really well and we are really happy to have her, it's super exciting."
