FOOD (Food of Orange District) Week 2021 will mark the 30th anniversary of the incredibly popular festival when it kicks off on April 9.
Some events have even already sold out, including the Ciociarian Culinary Adventure in Carcoar and Nonna and Miguel's Long Lunch.
The other hot-ticket item to sell out sometime in advance was FOOD Week's newest - and also "signature" - event, the Sampson Street Long Lunch.
[It] will run at a smaller capacity... [but] Forage 2021 will remain the great foodie experience our attendees know and love.
- FOOD Week spokesperson
"It sold out very quickly. People were very excited about that," a FOOD Week spokesperson said.
Fortunately, there's still an absolute smorgasbord of tours, dinners, talks, tastings, classes, sessions and every kind of food (and wine!) centred event with tickets still available - well, for now at least.
In quite exciting news, the Forage will also be back in 2021 on Saturday, April 17, "as a way of saying thank you" to the FOOD Week's friends and members for their support over the past year.
"The event will be run at a smaller capacity than normal," organisers said, but "Forage 2021 will remain the great foodie experience our attendees know and love".
The much-loved event had sold out within half an hour of being advertised in January 2020 before Covid-19 had caused Forage plus many other FOOD Week activities to be cancelled.
Forage is a 4.1-kilometre walk through the grapevines featuring a degustation menu of the region's wine and tasting plates with live music along the way.
Producers also accompany visitors to answer questions about cool climate food and wine.
Tickets are now on sale for current Friends of FOOD members.
The first FOOD Week in 1991 only had two signature events: a Friday evening dinner for 120 using local region produce, and a Saturday local producers market known as FOOD Affair.
Orange FOOD Week 2021 starts Friday, April 9, and runs until Sunday, April 18.
