The table was crafted by the 2020 year 10 timber class under the guidance of Technololgy and Applied Sciences teacher Mal Kay, with classmates Kyle Whittington, Liam Canlin and Michael Selmes playing a leading hand in its construction.
The Student Representative Council backed the project by providing $1500 to purchase the merbau, a hardwood timber from South East Asia, used for the project.
RMH's executive officer Rebecca Walsh was delighted with the table, which was handed over by Canobolas acting principal Michelle Barrett last week and has been placed in the outdoor communal area.
More than 838 families have been supported by RMH since it opened in 2015 with the house open 365 days a year.
That represents 6796 nights of free accommodation and almost 70,000 house of volunteer hours, numbers not surprising considering it services an area covering 86 per cent of NSW.
Ms Walsh said the health outcomes are better if children have their family unit around them while receiving treatment, while the parents also benefit.
"Being with families that are like-minded, having other families around them going through a similar situation," she added.
Canobolas has supported Ronald McDonald House for the last four years.
