Orange City Council agreed to support the event at this week's meeting.
The event was one of many cancelled last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
However, it is planned to return on Saturday May 22 this year.

A report to council said the organisers, Housing Plus, had asked for $5500 which was above the $5000 council limit for such events. A staff report recommended $3500 be given.
Cr Stephen Nugent called for the maximum to be donated following the recent opening of Orange's long-awaited domestic violence crisis centre, The Orchard.
"Given the last 12 months and the issue of domestic violence, you read articles about the level of domestic violence here in Orange being relatively high," he said.
"I think with the benefits that newly-opened centre that operates here [provides], helping victims of domestic violence, providing them with a safe haven, this is such important work and this is really a fund-raising event."
A report to council said the White Tie Ball had been running for four years and had more than 380 guests each year with up to 20 per cent from outside Orange.
The report said $70,800 was available in the budget for event support this financial year. Nearly $60,000 has already been spent.
Council also agreed to provide $5000 toward sponsoring events at this year's FOOD Week events plus $2000 toward a first-year FOOD Week event, the Sampson Street lunch.
The sold-out event will see about 300 people dining in the middle of Sampson Street on Saturday April 10.
Council will also provide $500 to Orange City Rugby Club to help run its Orange 10s event this month and $500 to the CWA for a schools public speaking competition.
And user groups of the Orange Cultural Centre have had their rent waived for when they could not access the centre due to COVID-19.
