The newly-completed, 7.6 kilometre, multi-use trail follows Boree Creek to Federal Falls, from the Lidster Fire Station, and Mr Donato said the casual ride was the perfect way to begin showcasing the region.
Mr Butler will be in the Central West for three days along with several members of his team, who also joined the two MPs on the ride.
"Early last year I visited the neighbouring electorate of Barwon, where I benefited immensely from seeing first hand some of the challenges and issues faced by remote rural communities and how individual communities were responding," Mr Donato said.

Mr Donato is a strong advocate for physical activity, regional tourism and mental health, saying the new trail will help the community in all three aspects.
"My focus while showing Roy and his team more of our great electorate will be on small business, tourism, mental health, and energy innovation," he said.
"The new Galinbuninya trail is a great addition to our region that will strengthen regional tourism while providing more opportunities for physical fitness and social connection, which are both linked to providing mental health benefits.
"The addition of the Galinbuninya Trail is a good sign of things to come for Orange, with the Mountain Bike Trail to follow in the near future.
"The social, physical and economic benefits to our community is something I'm very much looking forward to."
