In what was the last event at the Towac until Legends Day on March 21, Racing Orange executive officer Bree McMinn praised all that turned out for the day.
"It's been a fantastic crowd, we pre-sold a lot of tickets and then we had a lot of ticket sales at the gate," she said.
"I think the crowd have enjoyed themselves.
"Every race meeting we're getting more and more people through the gate."
The main drawcard for many was the Fashions on the Field, with Michelle Wallace beating out a hotly contested group to take the women's crown.
"We had a lot of ladies and a lot of entrants for the Fashions on the Field which is good to see," Ms McMinn added.
"The focus of Ladies Day is for everyone to get dressed up and it's a good excuse for the ladies to get dressed up.
"We haven't run that for a little while, so we'll probably run it at our Legends Day and definitely for cup day in April as well."
But there was also action on the course, with six races taking place between 2.13pm and 5.27pm.
"Racing has been good and we've had a lot of good horses running today," Ms McMinn said
"Epiroc has been a very strong supporter of the club and I think they're keen to continue the Epirock Ladies Day as an annual event."
Following on from Legends Day in March will be the Orange Gold Cup on Friday, April 16.
